Four NDFB (S) militants were arrested from an area under the Khatkhati Police Station in Karbi Anglong district of Assam in an intelligence driven operation. One AK 56 rifle and one 7.65 mm pistol were among arms recovered from them. NDFB is one of the notorious militant group from North East India (Assam).

Acting on a tip-off, police arrested four militants from Lahorijan area and their interrogation led to the recovery of several arms and ammunition from Hamren area. The recovered arms and ammunition were two AK-56 rifles, one pistol, three magazines and 33 rounds of ammunition, police said.
