Controversial Police Firing at Nandigram and CBI investigation

Kolkata, January 31, Rimo Bose: The much controversial Firing at Nandigram, West Bengal has  left a lot of scars on the previous Left Front led administration. It has been exempted by the CBI’s after the long term investigation, being contradictive to the statement made by Calcutta High Court. In 2007 marked a hassle oriented year for the buddhadeb Bhattacharjee led Government, The HC aforesaid that the firing was “unconstitutional”. The firing was reported to have killed 14 village dwellers on March 14th and 18th December, 2013 has made it clear that the assemblage was unruly. And it even marked one point that the commotion injured at least 30 police personalities.

This refurnished report of CBI has vexed the Trinamool congress, and they end up losing faith in the bureau. Tamluk’s MP even commented that this report filled by CBI is not acceptable at all and it’s more like daring High Court. On the other in support of report, left led leader Surjya Kanta Mishra voiced the similar opinion that the gathering was wrongful. The nandigram case is now having a twisted turn between the charge sheets followed by CID in the year 2007 and now the CBI’s in 2013. ?Milon Mukherjee a senior crime lawyer has expressed his no comment view on the legal proceedings till he completes scrutinizing the report of CBI. Another  Senior criminal lawyer Sekhar Basu didn’t want to comment on the legal implications of the CBI chargesheets on the other cases till he examined the contents. Both these lawyers had argued on Nandigram-related cases in the high court.
