NEW DELHI, Sept 4: Delhi Police has started 24/7 Special Police Unit for North East People at New Delhi at the office of the Joint Commisioner of Police for Crime Against Women and Children Office, Near Post Office, Behind Gurudwara, Nanakpura, New Delhi.
Special Police Unit for North East People at New Delhi
21 North East police officials from the northeast states have been posted in the capital city, according to IGP Robin Hibu (IPS), Nodal Officer for North East People, Delhi Police.
Already we have separate Helpline for North East people – 1093. Nine NE police officials already posted for manning it 24/7.
