90 Day Fiancé: Here's What Tom Brook Wrote in the Letter to Darcey Silva

[ad_1]

90 Day Fiancé star Tom Brooks decided that he needed to read the letter he wrote to Darcey Silva during the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Tell-All, The Couples Tell More episodeDarcey threw the letter away, but he still had a hard copy on his phone.

Tom and Darcey had a contentious relationship throughout 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season four. Tom showed a pattern of withholding behaviors toward Darcey causing her to feel rejected. She responded to his withholding ways with emotional reactions leading to their eventual split. Amid their breakup, Tom wrote a letter to Darcey which she asked her sister, Stacey, to rip up. Tom originally wrote the letter on his iPhone meaning he still has a copy to share with fans.

Tom sparked the curiosity of his fans when he asked if he should share the letter in an Instagram post on June 9. The post featured him holding a pair of glasses and squinting which he captioned, “Me trying to read the letter I wrote to Darcey at the finale of the tell-all… Do you want to know what it said?” Comments were largely in support of Tom revealing the letter. Some praised Tom’s behaviors in response to Darcey’s emotional antics throughout the fourth season. With Tom’s past actions, it’s likely he’ll use the third Tell-All as a chance to share the content of the letter. The previous two Tell-Alls proved Tom is no stranger to sharing personal information and has seemingly no consideration for Darcey’s feelings.

During the Couples Tell More episode, the host, Shaun Robinson asked if Tom would read the letter aloud. That’s when Darcey asked if she could turn off her speaker so she didn’t have to hear the letter. Darcey explained that there isn’t any reason to rehash the past. Tom eventrually agreed and decided not to read it. For that moment at least, when he was one on one with the camera, Tom decided to read the letter aloud:

Hello Darcey, I hope this note finds you well. Admittedly, sometimes I’m not the best at expressing myself in person so I thought that I’d sit and pen this letter to you instead. First of all, I wanted to tell you I do think you’re a wonderful woman. You are a kind and loving mother to your amazing daughters and I have the utmost respect for that. You have a sensitive heart and I feel that in fact you are genuinely searching for love and you have a deeply good heart and I don’t want to contribute to that. That being said I do have some genuine concerns. I feel you are wrapped up in your past relationship and you carry those burdens in your heart. To be fair, I’ve shouldered a lot and I felt at times I was a lifeline. To repeatedly hear about your heartache and your suffering with your ex while you were inconsolably crying has taken quite a toll on me and has become quite a strain on this new relationship that we have. But at the end of the day and at the very least we can hopefully salvage what we once started with a good, solid friendship, sincerely Tom.

Tom has proved he has a desire to stay in the spotlight despite being done with 90 Day Fiancé. He has said he never wanted to appear on the show but agreed while he was drunk. Tom believes throughout the course of season four he has been judged unfairly but wants to expand to other reality shows. Now he’s got his sights set on appearing on Pillow Talk and Dancing With the Stars. It seems that despite Darcey’s wishes, Tom couldn’t help but share his intimate thoughts that were written in the letter.
