Bandai Namco Launching Retro 8-Bit Games Via NAMCO MUSEUM ARCHIVES VOL 1 and 2 Next Week

Bandai Namco wants fans to rediscover retro video games on modern platforms and so they’ve announced Namco Museum Archives Vols 1 and 2. Each volume will contain 10 historic 8-bit console versions of arcade classics like Galaga and PAC-MAN. There will also be some games that never made it to Western consoles before like Dragon Buster II and Splatterhouse: Wanpaku Graffiti. In addition, Vol 1 will feature an 8-bit reimagining of PAC-MAN Championship Edition and Vol 2 will have an 8-bit version of Gaplus (Galaga’s sequel).
