Just as her new movie The Amazing Spider-Man 2 hit theatres this weekend, Emma hit the ground running for a good cause.
The 25-year-old actress co-hosted the gathering with Bravo’s Andy Cohen early Saturday morning.
The event is especially close to Stone’s heart because her mother Krista Stone was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer in 2008.
During her mom’s treatment, the Hollywood star put on a brave face throughout the scary ordeal, which included a year and a half of chemotherapy and constant trips to Arizona to visit Krista in treatment.
“I was oddly stoic, the opposite of how I usually am,” the actress told People. “But it was terrifying.”
Stone, who was casually clad in jeans, the charity’s official T-shirt and shades, flashed a big grin at the Revlon event as she posed for a selfie with Cohen.
The Watch What Happens Live host shared the snap on Instagram writing, “Inspiring morning co-hosting the #RevlonRunWalk with Emma Stone! #GoFightWin.”
Since the first EIF Revlon Run/Walk for Women was held in 1994, the events have raised more than $70 million, according to the charity’s website.
The money goes toward research, treatment and financial support for women facing cancer.
