LAHORE, 26 Apeil-2014 (dailytimes): Bollywood’s living legend Amitabh Bachchan has accepted invitation to visit Pakistan and expressed gratitude over the invitation extended to him by Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, a seasoned politician who heads the Pakistan Muslim League-Q.

Born on October 11, 1942, Amitabh first gained popularity in the early 1970s as the angry young man of the Indian film industry, and has since appeared in over 180 films in a career spanning more than four decades.
In reply to a letter, Amitabh wrote that ancestral roots of his mother go back to Faisalabad where she was born and to the Government College (University) Lahore where she spent her educational life. He further wrote that his grandfather was a prominent bar-at-law and functioned out of Karachi, adding that he was also in a revenue ministerial post for the erstwhile Punjab government, now in Pakistan.
Expressing gratitude over the invitation extended to him by seasoned politician from Pakistan, Amitabh promised to keep this in mind whenever there was an opportunity to visit Pakistan. Amitabh is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential actors in the history of Indian cinema.
