Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 along with retail box images listed on a Dubai website

Ahead of official LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge launch at the MWC 2016, the smartphones have already been listed on Dubai-based site. The listing reveals their retail boxes, design and front and back of the devices.

Samsung and LG are both set to launch their latest flagships, Galaxy S7 and G5 respectively, later this month at the MWC 2016. Ahead of the official announcement, there have been plenty of leaks about the new smartphones. Now, the two flagships have been listed in Dubai along with the images of the retail boxes.

According to the listing, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will be priced at 4,200 AED ($1,150 or Rs 78,200 approximately) and 4,500 AED ($1,225 or Rs 83,780 approximately), respectively. The Dubai-based site has listed the LG G5 for much lesser 2,500 AED ($680 or Rs 46,548 approximately). It’s notable that Samsung and LG phones come with an “imported from the U.S.” tag along with valid IMEI. The listing also reveals the retail boxes of the new flagships.

First up is the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The alleged retail box image corroborate the recent leaks of curvier design and rounder fingerprint reader at the bottom of the smartphone. You can check out the smartphone in images below. Recapping the smartphone specifications, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge come with the 5.1 inch and 5.5 inch Super AMOLED QHD displays respectively.

The two smartphones are likely to be powered by Snapdragon 820 or an Exynos 8890 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB storage options. The new Samsung flagships will come with microSD support for expandable storage. Other important features of the smartphone include 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel cameras, USB Type-C port, Wi-Fi 802.11ad, NFC and Bluetooth. The latest leak reveals the smartphones will come with waterproofing and quick charge features.

The LG G5 retail box images reveal the smartphone will come with fingerprint scanner on the rear, dual camera set up, and will have a metal body. The images also reveal removable back cover for replaceable battery. Check out the G5 images below:
As far as specifications go, LG’s latest flagship will come with a 5.6-inch QHD (2560×1440 pixels) display, Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 820 chipset paired with 3GB of RAM, dual camera set up, and a 2,800mAh battery. LG has already confirmed the smartphone will come with an Always On display allowing users to interact with the notifications from the lock screen.

Both Samsung and LG will be launching their flagship smartphones on February 21 this month.
