The Narendra Modi government underwent a significant overhaul on Wednesday evening with tens of leaders taking oath as new ministers of the Modi government. These leaders included several former chief ministers.
Ahead of the cabinet overhaul, several Union ministers including Harsh Vardhan, Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Ravi Shankar Prasad, Prakash Javadekar resigned and a number of new entrants met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at his residence.
