All you need to know before choosing MBBS abroad

Whenever we think of doing something which is not in our home country, we always feel it’s a huge task and hassled at every step. Firstly, we need to make sure any university or institution we would want to study medicine is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI).

Second MCI does not allow students from open schools to go abroad to study MBBS.

There is a minimum age of 17yrs when we choose to go abroad to study MBBS.

NEET qualification is compulsory to go abroad and study MBBS.

Students have to take FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Exam) if they wish to come back and practice in India.

Exposure to language and quality of the institute is the main criteria before a student chooses to go abroad to study MBBS.

Since MBBS is a versatile and popular course it can be studied at various destinations across the globe. Before searching for the destination, it is wise to do extensive research on the courses.

Infrastructure, eligibility criteria, cost of living, student VISA details, the value of MBBS degree awarded, lifestyle and work options at the preferred destination are of great importance before choosing to study MBBS abroad.
