The 68 year old wowed fans with her performance at the musical showpiece on Sunday, with an afternoon set that drew the biggest ever crowd in front of the main stage.

The ‘Jolene’ hitmaker was on such a high after her triumphant show, she spoke to the event’s organiser Michael Eavis about the possibility of starting a festival at her Dollywood theme park in Tennessee. She tells British newspaper The Sun, “I have a lotta (sic) land up near east Tennessee and we do a lot of festivals through my Dollywood company.

“I’ve often thought I might start my own festival in Tennessee. Maybe I’ll get good pointers from this one. I think I’m going to do that – Michael can give me some tips. Why wouldn’t I want something amazing like this?”

The Jolene hitmaker enjoyed her first performance at the recent Glastonbury and thinks there was a lot she could learn from it to stage her own music event at her Dollywood Theme Park in Tennessee, reports contactmusic.com.

I have a lotta land up near east Tennessee, and we do a lot of festivals through my Dollywood company. I’ve often thought I might start my own festival in Tennessee, or maybe I’ll get some good pointers from this one, she said.

And the 68-year-old star planned to ask Glastonbury founder Michael Eavis for some advice on setting up a musical extravaganza.

Speaking during a press conference, she said: I think I’m going to do that – Michael can give me some tips. Why wouldn’t I want something like this?
