New Delhi,24 February(Zee TV): Zee Cine Awards 2014 is one of the most coveted award shows of the year in the Indian subcontinent; and the ceremony was entertainment through and through. The stars have lined up for the honour. For those who have not been able to catch the show, here is a glimpse of all the highlights of the mega event.
Deepika and SRK again Become the Best in Zee Cine Awards 2014
The biggest celebrities of the tinsel town attend the event, dressed in their finest. Superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Priyanka Chopra, Genelia D’Souza, Subhash Ghai, Rakesh Om Prakash Mehra and Farhan Akhtar are present for the show.
The hosts, Abhishek Bachchan and Ritesh Deshmukh welcome the audience and the viewers.
The actors go behind the scenes to honour those who have worked to make the award show possible.
The actors also talk about all the nominations including `The Lunchbox`, `Chennai Express`, `Dhoom 3`, `Bhaag Milkha Bhaag` and `Shahid`.
The first segment of awards begins with award for Production Design. To present the awards, Sonal Chauhan and Fardeen Khan arrive on stage.

Owing to the sheer magnitude of its reach and popularity, the stage of Lux Cozi Zee Cine Awards was the platform to the first look launch of two of the biggest upcoming Bollywood movies- Ashay Kumar starrer- `Holiday`and Ali Zafar and Yami Gautam starrer- `Total Siyapaa`.
Shah Rukh Khan comes on the stage and calls ‘Bunny’ and ‘Naina’ from ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’…. The audience are in splits as Bharti Singh is upto her usual antics.

Best Actor In A Negative Role: Supriya Pathak bags it for ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela: RamLeela’. The award was presented by Producer-Director Abbas-Mustan.

Sonakshi Sinha is invited to the stage and she arrives on stage to enthrall the audience with her performance in a beautiful white ensemble.
For having managed to find her own footing in the frenzied world of Bollywood and carving a distinct niche for herself first as a successful choreographer, then as a film director and producer, Farah Khan bagged a distinctive award at the Lux Cozi Zee Cine Awards 2014. The ‘Stree Samman Award’ is a first-of-its-kind initiative at a film awards show aimed at recognizing the contribution made by industrious, enterprising women in a male-dominated industry.
Farah received the prestigious award at the hands of veteran film-maker Subhash Ghai. As she went on stage to accept the award, Farah said, “They say behind every successful man, there is a woman. But let me tell you, behind this successful woman, there are a hundred men.” She went on to thank all the men who have stood by her side as a pillar of strength in the course of her journey in Bollywood. She also thanked Shah Rukh for having been a mentor and a dear friend. Subhash Ghai thanked the Zee group for coming up with this unique award.
The International Icon Award (Male) goes to rapper Honey Singh.
Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra presents The International Icon Award (Female)goes to Priyanka Chopra for making it on the international performance with ‘Exotic’ and Disney’s ‘Planes’.
Shah Rukh Khan comes back on stage as ‘Thalaiva’ – Rajinikanth… King Khan presents the nominees for Best Film in his own style. In the last segment he presented ‘Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani’, and now he comes with his own movie – ‘Chennai Express’.
What Shah Rukh Khan did for Deepika Padukone, Bharti did too! This time the milieu was not a temple, but the Lux Cozi Zee Cine Awards 2014! Bharti, the ‘King-sized’ Comedienne lifts Deepika Padukone from her seat to the stage!
