DRI team resorted to search the plane after a tip off. The smuggler from Dubai had concealed the gold bars worth 1.25 crores in the waste box of the toilet and another agent was supposed to enter the flight as the flight is scheduled to have service to Bangalore. As there is no customs search in the domestic flights, the gold bars can be smuggled off easily.
