On Friday, a newly infiltrated group of two fidayeens stormed into the police station and killed four people including two CRPF men and injured 10 others in the Kathua district of Jammu division. Two fidayeens were later gunned down by the security forces in a five hour long operation.

Sources said Pakistan based militant commanders have switched over to new strategy which they call the sneak-in fidayeens. Under this plan, fidayeens are directly launched from Pakistan to infiltrate and launch instant attack on the security force installations without wasting any time on Indian soil. Same strategy was adopted on Friday when Pakistani fidayeens crossed the International Border which is more than 12 kilometre from the highway. Instantly after hijacking the vehicle the fidayeens attacked the police station.

Today’s terrorist may also be part of the same module.

Further details awaited.
