Lakshyam & Women’s Ambassador Forum to organize Global Virtual Summit ‘Women of India’

With Bollywood icon Jacqueline Fernandez and “Padman” Arunachalam Muruganantham as Keynote Speakers

It’s been more than four months that we all are under lockdown. These four months have been difficult for everyone. To cope up with this crisis and to help women of the society in this pandemic, Lakshyam, an NGO devoted to the destitute and suppressed communities is expanding its mission of empowering women by organising an exclusive 5 hours of powerful session of Global Virtual Summit “Women of India leading in time of crisis” on 1st August, 2020 from 03:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. through online platform. For this summit, Lakshyam has partnered with USA based “The Women Ambassadors Forum (WAF)’ with prominent celebrities and influential speakers.

25 Indian Leaders from 7 different countries will participate in this summit. The forum was inspired by the hardships caused by COVID-19, and the event’s focus is to empower attendees to lead in a time of crisis. The admission to the Forum is DONATION BASED, with all proceeds going to feeding over 200+ families and supporting the educational & women empowerment program of Lakshyam.

Lakshyam (, is an NGO devoted to the destitute and suppressed communities, especially women and children. Established in 2012, Lakshyam is an NGO that uplifts children and women of at-risk communities through education & employment. Currently functional in 17 states of India with 19 centers. The key areas of the establishment also include education, health, and empowerment (women in particular) to promote practical, effective and innovative solutions to improve the lives of the not-so-privileged communities. Over the years, Lakshyam has expanded its scope of activities and enhanced its efforts by initiating various camps, workshops and programs like ‘Butterfly’, a child welfare and education program, ‘Lakshyam Toy Library’, a need-based approach, and ‘Rooh: Awakening Women’s Soul’, a program to empower the suppressed women of India.
