Jessica Chastain Set to Produce Adaptation of Alice Feeney Novel HIS & HERS for TV

Actress Jessica Chastain has taken on a new project in the role of producer with an upcoming series that will be adapted from the Alice Feeney novel, His & Hers. Chastain’s production company, Freckle Films, has acquired the rights to the story, which she will produce along with Kristen Campo and Kelly Carmichael. Variety reports the following synopsis for the thriller:

The novel tells the story of DCI Jack Harper and BBC newsreader Anna Andrews, whose paths cross for the first time following their divorce when a woman is found murdered in their hometown. Anna is reluctant to cover the case and Jack becomes suspicious of her involvement, until he becomes a suspect in his own murder investigation.

This will be the second Feeney novel adapted for TV, as another of her novels, Sometimes I Lie, is currently being adapted at Warner Bros. and Fox with Ellen DeGeneres producing, and Sarah Michelle Gellar set to star. Feeney said of the new partnership:

“The last three years have been such a wonderful whirlwind and I’m still pinching myself,” Feeney said. “I’m so thrilled to be working with Jessica Chastain, Kristen Campo, and the team at Endeavor Content. I love what they have planned for ‘His & Hers,’ and I can’t wait to see Anna Andrews and Jack Harper brought to life on screen.”
