KPCC President welcomes RSP to UDF

Thiruvananthapuam, 8 March, Sreeparvathy K.: KPCC President VM Sudheeran had welcomed RSP to join congress led United Democratic Front(UDF). Sudheeran said that UDF is open to discussion if RSP choose to leave LDF and both parties should have a compatible ideology. Sudheeran added that there would not be any complication with regard to the selection of congress candidates in the election. He also announced that all the current issues related to candidature will be solved smoothly.

Meanwhile, CPI(M) Polit Buro member S Ramachandra Pillai said that RSP’s decision to face election by itself is very disappointing. He also demanded RSP to take decisions that favour LDF in the election. Opposition Leader VS Achuthanandan also asked RSP to take back its decision to fight a singlehanded election from Kollam. He asked RSP leaders not to take decisions that would weaken LDF and stop taking such hard measures. VS also added that all the disparities between the parties can be solved through discussion.
