Samuel L. Jackson tells Spike Lee at the Oscars that the Knicks actually won a game

During Sunday night’s Academy Awards, Samuel L. Jackson informed New York Knicks superfan Spike Lee that the Knicks (now 12-48) beat the San Antonio Spurs 130-118 to snap an 18-game home losing streak.

Lee replied, “We’re trying to tank.”

And then Jackson handed Lee the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay (BlacKkKlansman).
