Mario Hezonja has done it again.
A few months after dunking on and stepping over Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetonkounmpo, the New York Knicks guard has thrown down another nasty slam. During Monday’s Knicks-Cavaliers game, Hezonja threw down an absolute poster on Marquese Chriss. To quote James Johnson, Hezjona “cocked that joint back and banged on em.”

While the 23-year-old’s career hasn’t gone as planned after he was the fifth overall pick by the Orlando Magic back in 2015, Hezonja has established himself as one of the better in-game dunkers. In this case, Chriss should have just stepped out of the way and let the Croatian small forward do his thing. There’s nothing wrong with making a business decision. Now, Chriss is going to have to see this dunk on replay for the rest of the season and beyond.

Chriss deserves an ‘at least you tried’ sticker for at least attempting to block the shot, even if ended extremely poorly. Hezonja deserves kudos for making a Knicks-Cavs game temporarily exciting.[Rob Perez]
