Former cricketer and minister in Punjab government, Navjot Singh Sidhu, has been in news for his role in the opening of the Darbar Kartarpur Sahib corridor with Pakistan, but now a right-wing group Hindu Yuva Vahini (HYV) has declared a reward of Rs one crore for someone who would behead Sindhu for abusing Uttar Pradesh CM, Yogi Adityanath.
Tarun Singh, the president of HYV, said he would kill Sidhu he visits Agra and he said Sidhu had given a statement against UP CM in a rally in Rajasthan which was objectionable.
Tarun also targeted Sidhu over his connections with Pakistan and he also said that since Sidhu has been praising Pakistan for a while now and has also given statement against his own country.
He said, “Either Sidhu should go to Pakistan or we will not let him live in India in these circumstances.”
They also burnt Sidhu’s effigy. Sidhu, while speaking in a rally in Rajasthan, had said that BJP wasn’t faithful to the people of the nation, “Even chowkidar’s (referring to Prime Minister) dog is not loyal. He is also a chor (thief). And Yogi is the biggest ‘Bhogi’.”
