U.S. Military To Allow Transgender Recruits After Trump Administration Drops Appeal

President Trump arrives to board Air Force One at Joint Base Andrews on Dec. 22. Transgender people will be allowed to enlist in the military on Monday after the White House decided to not appeal.

An LGBT activist says the Trump administration has waved “the white flag,” dropping an appeal of court rulings blocking a ban on transgender troops.
