Bhubaneswar, 4 June-2014: To provide safety to the road users at unmanned level-crossings, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) is now constructing Limited Height Sub-ways (LHS) near such level-crossings in most of the places under its jurisdiction.

As a part of this, the ECoR has blocked traffic between Ghantikhal Nidhipur and Naraj Marthapur stations for six and an half hour from 8.30 am to 3 pm on June 8 under Khurda Road Division. As a result, some of the trains running on the above day will be diverted and cancelled. The Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Inter City Express, the Howrah-Puri-Santragachi passenger and the Gandhidham-Puri Express will run on diverted route via Cuttack. Similarly, the Sambalpur-Puri-Sambalpur Inter City Express will becancelled both the directions on the above day.
