New Delhi, 2 June, Prachee Nayak: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. Naveen will meet Modi at his South Block office on 12.30 PM today, he likely presents a memorandum to the Prime Minister.

CM Patnaik likely to discuss Special Status for Odisha , Polavaram’s impact on Odisha and Khurda-Balangir Railway line issue with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Later in the afternoon Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik with BJD MP delegation to meet Finance Minister Arun Jaitely. CM Patnaik and BJD MP delegation likely to press demand for special category status to Odisha and review of mining royalty to the state.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the important issues that need to be taken up with the Prime Minister and Union Ministers, at Odisha Bhawan, New Delhi on Friday .

The review covered various issues relating to different Ministries/ Departments in Government of India including Ministries of Finance, Home, Railways, Transport, Urban Development and Rural Development. During the review, Chief Minister highlighted significant issues concerning the State that need to be taken up with Prime Minister on an urgent basis.

He is likely to discuss the identified issues with the Prime Minister and Union Ministers of Home, Finance, Railways, Transport, Urban Development and Rural Development. Chief Minister is scheduled to call on Prime Minister along with all Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Members of Parliament belonging to Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha to discuss crucial matters of the State. His meetings in Delhi are aimed at accelerating inclusive socio-economic development of the State.
