The court, today, told him that he is turning this into a ‘prestige issue’ recommended to Kejriwal that he would be allowed to make whatever claims he wished too after he was released from jail. Kejriwal’s lawyer told the HC that a personal bond of 10,000 rupees had already been signed and would be filed before the magistrate today itself.
The defamation case was filed by BJP leader Nitin Gadkari for statements made by Kejriwal accusing him of exploiting poor farmers in Vidarbha.
