Naveen Patnaik to sworn in as CM Of Odisha for fourth Time

Bhubaneswar, 21 May-2014: BJD president Naveen Patnaik on Wednesday will take oath at Raj Bhawan, here for the fourth time in a row in 14 years as chief minister of Odisha. He would be administered the oath and secrecy of the office by Odisha Governor SC Jamir.

Naveen Patnaik has finalized a 22-member Ministry after a marathon exercise. While preparing the list of Council of Ministers, Patnaik has reportedly given stress on loyalty and clean image. In the list of Cabinet berths are Dr Damodar Rout, Debi Prasad Mishra, Bikram Keshari Arukh, Badrinaryan Patra, Lalbihari Himrika, Bijoyshree Routray, Usha Devi, Jogendra Behera, Pradeep Maharathy, Pushendra Singh Deo and Pradeep Kumar Amat.In the list of Minister of States are Arun Sahu, Ramesh Majhi, Prafulla Mallick, Pranab Prakash Das, Sudam Marnadi Dr Pradeep Panigrahi, Snehangini Chhuria, Asok Kumar Panda, Atanu Sabyasachi Nayak and Sanjaya Dasburma. Governor Dr SC Jameer would administer the oath of office and secrecy to Patnaik and the members of his new Council of Ministers in the premises of the Raj Bhavan here at a swearing-in ceremony at around 10 am. The swearing-in ceremony would be held at a makeshift air-conditioned hall fitted with LED television sets in view of the sizzling heat wave conditions. An estimated 3,000 guests, including VVIPs, have been invited to the ceremony, for which heavy security arrangements have been put in place by the Commissionerate of Police.
