Silchar, February 23, Jasmine Ahmed: Gujarat Chief Minister and BJP (Bharatiya Janta Party) Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Saturday adopted the ECI (Election Commission of India) to remove the  doubtful/disputed tag against in 1.43 lakh voters in Assam before the 2014 Lok Sabha ballot and grant them to cast their votes. BJP rally in Silchar southern Assam town, Modi also said that all the States of the Country and not just Assam should share the anxiety of adding shelter to the Bangladeshi Hindus, who, he purported, had been forced to come to India seeking shelter due to “Persecution” in the neighboring country. He said that all Bangladeshis are infiltrators, who have penetrated with a heinous political design. Narendra Modi promised that if the BJP came to power it would close down the incarceration camps in Assam in which some “Doubtful” voters and persons announced by immigrant board are lodged as it was an abuse of human rights. He purported that whenever the Congress government became afraid of losing support then it assigned the “Doubtful” tag against certain voters.  Gauhati High Court of Justice B.K. Sarma in a judgment conducted that once a reference is made to the Tribunal, On April 21, 2011 the Superintendent of Police (Border) will have to ensure that the person concerned cannot do the act of evanescence. If need be, he/she should be kept in the incarceration camp with the facility of fight the reference. Bharatiya Janata Party’s Prime Ministerial Candidate Narendra Modi said that “When Pakistan lies next to Gujarat, Bangladesh lies next to Assam. The people in Assam are disturbed because of Bangladesh while Pakistan is worried because of me.”  Assam Government, on 12 February informed the Assam Assembly that all 130 persons had been kept in three incarceration camps in Kokrajhar, Silchar and Goalpara Goalpara. The State Government also told the House in reply to a question by Congress administrator Kamalakhya De Purakayastha that information on total number of Bengali-Hindus with the “Doubtful” voters was not accessible as “Doubtful” tag was not allow on caste or religious basis.
