Clean Chit Given To Hospital In Alleged Kidney Sale Case

Bhubaneswar, 5 May-2014, Abhijit Saha: The deputy commissioner of police of Cuttack city has given a clean chit to a high profile hospital in Bhubaneswar. The DCP has given this clean chit to the hospital in connection with the sensational kidney sale case in the capital city. In this case, a women who was from a very poor family allegedly sold her kidney to earn a little big money.

The DCP Sanjeev Arora said that no irregularities were seen in the kidney transplant case. He said that every document has been prepared as per the provisions of the law governing organ donations and transplant in India.
The DCP has made the statement after investigating the Kidney sale case. The woman who allegedly sold her kidney was named Padmini Nayak and was from Nayak Sahi under Mangalabag police limits. She allegedly sold her kidney after she was promised Rs 3 lakh by a middleman.
