Kejriwal-Hardik bonhomie on Twitter

HT Correspondent, New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party National convener Arvind Kejriwal and Patidar agitation

leader Hardik Patel found common ground in criticising Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party, in power in Gujarat, on Wednesday.
Kejriwal retweeted two comments of Patel, in a span of a few hours, on the microblogging site triggering speculation about the two joining forces. AAP leaders said they are in touch with Patel but he is not scheduled to meet Kejriwal in the near future or during his October 16 visit to Gujarat.
“The Army faced the bullets, its soldiers were martyred, other soldiers retaliated and killed terrorists. But why are Modi and the BJP seeking advantage for that?” Patel tweeted.
In another tweet, he criticised Modi’s flagship programme as chief minister, Vibrant Gujarat summit, which showcases the western state as an international investment destination. “Gujarat has seen seven Vibrant Gujarat summits, despite that 35 lakh youth are unemployed, seven per cent industries and 35 per cent factories are shut,” he tweeted, drawing quick retweets from the Delhi chief minister.
Kejriwal is expected to address a big rally in Surat later this month as part of AAP’s preparations for the Gujarat assembly elections next year.
