On a sporty luxe spree: Of gymwear glam and partying in pyjamas

With the fashion season now shifting to the national Capital, it’s time for us to look back and pick a trend that all of us can replicate, (and hope to see on the Delhi runways too!). Big-ticket brands have made their mark on the runways of Paris, Milan, London and New York in the past months, and now one of the hottest trends that we are dying to try ourselves, is wearing our gym tracks to parties, putting on those pyjamas for brunch and not being afraid of neoprene for that glam event.

From the biggest players in the game, legendary houses Versace and Gucci, to contemporary fashion rulers like Victoria Beckham, gymwear and its many variations have made its way to the runway.

Get it in your wardrobe
There’s a tricky line between playing it sporty, and looking like you were plain lazy to dress up. Take a cue from our very own Kangana Ranaut, who attended a recent film premiere in a devil-may-care sporty separates.

That backpack just topped off the look. Beyond the drawstring pyjamas, go for quilted jackets a la Dior, a label which showcased a fencing-suit inspired ensemble in Paris. So much inspo to lap
