“Most of the time I am down South training fast bowlers from all over the world. I have a wonderful time at the academy interacting with youngsters who aspire to become bowlers. There is some great talent coming up,” he says.
The 46-year-old was in the Capital recently as the brand ambassador for Hardy Wines. Talking to us, McGrath says that India has become a home away from home for him. “I think I have been coming to India every year since 1992 and now I visit three times a year. The people here are warm and so welcoming. Every time I land here, I can see people are excited to meet me. It’s surreal. You can’t go for a walk on the streets. I can be a normal person in Australia, but here it’s a bit impossible,” he says.

That’s why you find many international ex-cricketers who are involved in IPL or are coaching, commentating to earn some money,” he says.
