In an exclusive interview with Radio Nasha’s RJ Anmol, Asha talked about the 1987 album, her views on changing lifestyle, fusion music and more.
“For 3-4 years, I kept asking both to work on the songs for an album together and when they did not, I was irritated and stopped saying anything. Then, while watching a James Bond film at night, there was a scene where James Bond emerges onscreen and a tune plays, RD switched off the TV immediately and began humming a tune. He then worked o a few tunes, talked to Gulzar and began work on the songs,” she said.
“As luck would have it, when they began working on the songs, I had to go for some event. When I returned, all the songs were ready,” she added.
