Mumbai:A local court on Saturday gave businessman Vijay Mallya a final chance to appear before it in a case of cheque bouncing filed by the Airports Authority of India.
The court on Friday reserved its order on two cheque bouncing cases filed by the AAI against Mr. Mallya.
The 63rd metropolitan magistrate court has reserved the orders on the two applications in two cases of cheque bouncing of over Rs. 100 crore against Kingfisher Airlines and others, an AAI release said.
Advocate Anil Kathuria, appearing for the AAI, said the court cancelled his permanent exemption and gave him last chance to appear before it. The court said if he failed to appear, it would issue a non-bailable warrant against him.
