I was totally misquoted: Tiger Shroff clears his stand on his ‘sexist’ remark

Tiger Shroff has found himself embroiled in another row. Recently, an interview of Shroff went viral on the Internet. Tiger was speaking about the kind of girl he would love to date and the sexist statement didn’t go down too well with the readers.

Soon, Tiger faced the ire and backlash on social media with different people slamming him for his comments. In the interview, Tiger was quoted saying, “I will get married to a girl from the village… When I reach home, I want a massage so that I can get relaxed (sic). I like girls who are the housewife-type.”

After Twitteratis went bonkers, Tiger has finally spoken up on the issue and clarified his stand on the same. He told dna, “I was totally misquoted,” he continued saying, “It was something said so, so, so sarcastically. There were people laughing In the room as well but that’s besides the point. I would hope those who have accepted me and those who know would know better how I’m totally for women. I’ve said previously how it’s great that we are becoming more aware of women empowerment and I’m a fan of woman-centric films like Mary Kom etc.”
