Ahmedabad: Gujarat has been put on high alert after Pakistan’s National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasir Khan Janjua informed his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval that 10 terrorists have entered the state.

Nasir Janjua has informed that these terrorisis are from Lashkar-E-Taiba and Jaish-E-Muhammad terror outfits and their aim is to carry out terror strikes.

A heavy contingent of NSG deployed in the state to counter possible terror attack.

Two other NSG teams were rushed to Gujarat and put on stand by after high level alert sounded in the state.

Following intelligence input from Pakistan’s NSA, security has been tightened in the entire state and all security agencies have been put on high alert.

PC Thakur, DGP Gujarat, held an emergency meeting on the input recieved and issued a notification cancelling leaves of all police officers and personnel till further orders.

It is perhaps for the very first time that Pakistan NSA has shared such intelligence input with his Indian counterpart.

Earlier, on Saturday an abandoned Pakistani boat was found in Koteshwar area of Kutch.

A man was also arrested in Kutch for taking pictures of the Army cantonment.
