BJP MP R.K. Sinha praises Nitish as saying a gentleman with clean image

Patna: After BJP MP and actor Shatrughan Sinha gave embarrassing moments to his party by praising Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, another BJP MP on Friday lauded Mr. Kumar and his “commitment to the State’s development.”

“Bihar is on the path of development under Nitish Kumar. There is no doubt about the intentions of the Bihar Chief Minister as he is a gentleman and has a clean image,” said the BJP Rajya Sabha MP R.K. Sinha.

Mr. Sinha , though, advised Mr. Kumar to focus more on law and order situation in the State.

Mr. Sinha has been in the BJP for a long time and is also a successful businessman.

Earlier, Shatrughan Sinha, the Patna Sahib MP, had praised Nitish Kumar and RJD chief Lalu Prasad much to the discomfiture of the BJP. A few days back, Mr. Sinha had met both leaders in Patna and invited them to his book launch function likely to be held in March in Patna.

Another Bihar BJP MP from Darbhanga Kirti Jha Azad too had earlier lauded Nitish Kumar’s governance. Mr. Azad had exposed the alleged scam in the Delhi District Cricket Association (DDCA) and questioned the role of BJP leader Arun Jaitley.

The list is growing: JD(U)
“The list of BJP leaders who have the guts to laud the good work being done in Bihar under Nitish Kumar is growing day by day… for how long will you be ostrich-like and not see the development of Bihar?” JD(U) leader and party spokesperson Sanjay Singh told The Hindu.

However, the State BJP leaders refused to comment on the Rajya Sabha MP’s remark.
