Ink Attack On Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal At Odd-Even ‘Thanksgiving’ Event

New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a woman threw ink at Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday evening. Kejriwal was speaking at Delhi’s Chhatrasal Stadium at the odd-even scheme thanksgiving rally when the woman smeared ink at him.

Bhavna, the woman in question, is believed to be a part of Aam Aadmi Sena’s Punjab Unit. She was immediately apprehended by the police.

However, the Chief Minister told the cops to leave her. “Leave her, she is talking about some scam. Please take that paper from her she is mentioning some CNG scam,” he said. Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had ink thrown at him while he was addressing a gathering on the success of odd-even scheme at the Chhatrasal stadium in Delhi. A woman in her 20s walked towards the dais and threw ink, and some papers and a CD at Mr Kejriwal. She was immediately detained by the police.

The chief minister was addressing a gathering of nearly 5,000 people to thank Delhi residents for what the government says was a successful odd-even car rationing trial. The woman has been identified as Bhavna, who belongs to the “Aam Aadmi Sena” a splinter group of AAP formed by party rebels. Delhi government has criticised the police for inadequate security at the stadium.
