BJP leader Sadhvi Prachi draws flak for calling Shah Rukh Khan ‘Pakistani agent’

Lucknow/ Muzaffarnagar/ Mumbai, Nov 04 (ANI): Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) leader Sadhvi Prachi drew flak from actors and politicians alike for calling Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan a “Pakistani agent”.

Prachi’s remarks came after Khan voiced his feelings over the growing intolerance in the country and said intolerance towards creativity and religion will harm the country. Supporting Khan, Actor Raza Murad said on Wednesday everyone has a right to put forth their views. On Monday (November 02) she said Khan was trying to sabotage India’s image by making detrimental statements. Meanwhile, Prachi’s comments were also slammed by a former Muslim politician, Kamal Farooqui who said Modi does not need enemies with the likes of Prachi around. Congress leader Rashid Alvi condemned Prachi’s statements and said Khan’s ancestors fought for India’s independence from British rule.
