Congress leader Ajay Maken on Sunday said took a jibe at Arvind Kejriwal and his Aam Aadmi Party by posting a picture of the Delhi CM with MLA Jitender Singh Tomar at the party’s meeting MLAs and their family on anti-corruption. He tweeted a picture saying, “Kejriwalji with MLA family members on corruption and on ‘High Table’ with Kejriwal is ‘Fake Degree’ Ex-Law Minister Tomar!’
After sacking Khan over graft charges, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said he wanted to caution party MLAs, and their families, against a repeat of the episode. Kejriwal said the MLAs will be reminded of the background of the party, its ideology and how it rose from an anti-corruption movement. He will also send a stern message at the meeting that those erring will not be spared.
The sacked Food and Civil Supplies and Environment Minister, Asim Ahmed Khan, on Saturday said that the audio CD of his conversation with a ‘middleman’ had not been made available to him, and he heard his conversation on news channels.
Revealing the name of the middleman whose voice was recorded, Khan said the middleman was none other than senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Shakeel Malik. He sought to know from the party as to what was the reason behind hiding Malik’s name and making his name public. He also claimed that he was a victim of AAP’s internal politics.
