Special Report: 11th no Bhaghpat Lok Sabha Constituency, State of Utter Pradesh

Bhaghpat, March 27, Lok Sabha: In this special report of Lok Sabha Constituency today I will try give a brief look on Bhaghpat Constituency of Utter Pradesh, which is situated in northern India.

This Constituency is consists of 5 Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC). They are as follows:

1. Siwalkhas

2. Chhaprauli

3. Baraut

4. Baghpat

5. Modi Nagar

Session 1977 (C. Singh):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election C. Singh was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner C. Singh (BLD) got 325564 votes while his rival Ram Chandra (INC) got 71552 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 250222 (59.56% of Total Valid Votes). The total no of elector was 538772, from which 425355 no of electors voted. Total valid votes were 418567, from which rejected votes were 7045. There were total 8 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 599, average no of electors per polling station was 908.

Session 1980 (C. Singh):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election C. Singh was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner C. Singh (JNP-S) got 151196 votes while his rival Ram Chandra (INC) got 131557 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 26629 (6.57% of Total Valid Votes). The total no of elector was 657713, from which 434448 no of electors voted. Total valid votes were 423576, from which rejected votes were 9112. There were total 15 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 719, average no of electors per polling station was 919.

Session 1989 (Ajeet Singh):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election Ajeet Singh was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner Ajeet Singh (JD) got 301660 votes while his rival M. Sharma (INC) got 264452 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 38778 (6.29% of Total Valid Votes). The total no of elector was 915770, from which 615332 no of electors voted. Total valid votes were 606557, from which rejected votes were 9555. There were total 11 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1223, average no of electors per polling station was 887.

Session 1991 (Ajeet Singh):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election Ajeet Singh was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner Ajeet Singh (JD) got 212783 votes while his rival Z. Singh (INC) got 182568 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 300245 (4.75% of Total Valid Votes). The total no of elector was 927076, from which 653493 no of electors voted. Total valid votes were 634593, from which rejected votes were 20373. There were total 14 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1353, average no of electors per polling station was 889.

Session 1998 (Sompal):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election Sompal was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner Sompal (BJP) got 333447 votes while his rival A. Singh (BKKGP) got 195567 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 141780 (18.67% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 11 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1467, average no of electors per polling station was 799.

Session 1999 (A. Singh):

In this 1999 edition of Lok Sabha election A. Singh was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner A. Singh (RLD) got 438781 votes while his rival Som Pal (BJP) got 275671 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 163656 (22.11% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 8 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1445, average no of electors per polling station was 778.

Session 2004 (Ajit Singh):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election Ajit Singh was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner Ajit Singh (RLD) got 362674 votes while his rival A.Ali (BSP) got 204564 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 160560 (18.34% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 15 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1345, average no of electors per polling station was 904.

Session 2009 (Ajit Singh):

In this 2009 edition of Lok Sabha election Ajit Singh was selected as a MP from Bhaghpat Constituency. As a winner Ajit Singh (RLD) got 238638 votes while his rival Mukesh Sharma (BSP) got 278475 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 175611. There were total 16 no of contestants from Bhaghpat constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1391, average no of electors per polling station was 916.
