Special Report: 6th no Moradabad Lok Sabha Constituency, State of Uttar Pradesh

Moradabad, March 27, Lok Sabha: In this special report of Lok Sabha Constituency today I will try give a brief look on Moradabad Constituency of Uttar Pradesh, which is situated in eastern India.

This Constituency is consists of Legislative Assembly Constituency (LAC). They are as follows:

1. Barhapur

2. Kanth

3. Thakurdwara

4. Moradabad Rural

5. Moradabad Nagar

Session 1967 (T. Pursha):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election T. Pursha was selected as a MP from Moradabad Constituency. As a winner T. Pursha (BJS) got 123337 votes while his rival M. Fakhri (INC) got 125561 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 6556 (2.85% of Total Valid Votes). The total no of elector was 460267.

Session 1971 (V. Agarwal):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election V. Agarwal was selected as a MP from MoradabadConstituency. As a winner V. Agarwal (BJS) got 142771 votes while his rival S. Ahmed (IND) got 75552 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 67459 (29.58% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 12 no of contestants from Moradabad constituency in this session.

Session 1977 (G. Khan):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election G. Khan was selected as a MP from MoradabadConstituency. As a winner G. Khan (BLD) got 145651 votes while his rival D. Sinha (INC) got 127670 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 59871 (5.56% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 7 no of contestants from Moradabad constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 807. average no of electors per polling station was 790.

Session 1984 (Md. Hafiz):

In this 1984 edition of Lok Sabha election Md. Hafiz was selected as a MP from Moradabad Constituency. As a winner Md. Hafiz (INC) got 225560 votes while his rival H.Gulam (LKD) got 167660 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 57440 (14.19% of Total Valid Votes).
