Special Report: 7th no Rampur LokSabha Constituency, State of Uttar Pradesh

In this special report of LokSabha Constituency today I will try give a brief look on Rampur Constituency of Uttar Pradesh, which is situated in eastern India.

Session 1962 (M. Ahmed):

In this edition of LokSabha election M. Ahmed was selected as a MP from RampurConstituency. As a winner M. Ahmed (INC) got 92299 votes while his rival S. Shanti (JS) got 84226 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 8099 (4.22% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 8 no of contestants from Rampur constituency in this session.

Session 1967 (N. S. Khan):

In this 1967 edition of LokSabha election N. S. Khan was selected as a MP from RampurConstituency. As a winner N. S. Khan (SWA) got 136778 votes while his rival S. Ketu (BJS) got 774411 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 58557 (25.66% of Total Valid Votes). There were total no 9 of contestants from Rampur constituency in this session.

Session 1977 (R. Sharma):

In this edition of LokSabha election R. Sharma was selected as a MP from Rampur Constituency. As a winner R. Sharma (BLD) got 185581 votes while his rival Z. Khan (INC) got 1026779 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 85592 (27.10% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 3 no of contestants from Rampur constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 748, average no of electors per polling station was 804.

Session 1980 (Z. Khan):

In this edition of LokSabha election Z. Khan was selected as a MP from Rampur Constituency. As a winner Z. Khan (INC) got 174334 votes while his rival M. Rehman (JNP) got 56562 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 115676 (38.70% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 6 no of contestants from Rampurconstituency in this session. No of Polling station was 978, average no of electors per polling station was 789.

Session 1991 (R. Sharma):

In this edition of LokSabha election R. Sharma was selected as a MP from RampurConstituency. As a winner R. Sharma (BJP) got 182661 votes while his rival Z. Khan (INC) got 1205558 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 62066 (14.19% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 15 no of contestants from Rampur constituency in this session. In this edition of LokSabha election A. Begam was selected as a MP from RampurConstituency. As a winner A. Begam (INC) got 205521 votes while his rival R. Sharma (BJP) got 186676 votes respectively. The total no of elector was 1439116, from which 828500 no of electors voted. Total valid votes were 821194, from which rejected votes were 611. There were total 11 no of contestants from Rampurconstituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1118, average no of electors per polling station was 956.

Session 2009 (Jaya Prada):

In this edition of LokSabha election Jaya Prada was selected as a MP from Rampur Constituency. As a winner Jaya Prada (SP) got 345241 votes while his rival Noor Begam (INC) got 337637 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 18704. The total no of elector was 15437891, from which 759693 no of electors voted. Total valid votes were 758190, from which rejected votes were 199 There were total 11 no of contestants from Rampur constituency in this session. No of Polling station was 1683, average no of electors per polling station was 828.
