Session 1962 (V.Patil):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election V.Patil was selected as a MP from Chikodi Constituency. As a winner V.Patil (INC) got 166110 votes while his rival Balavant Warle (REP) got 79334 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 86776 (35.35% of Total Valid Votes). There were total 8 no of contestants from Chikodi constituency in this session.

Session 1967 (B.Anand):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election B.Anand was selected as a MP from Chikkodi Constituency. As a winner B.Anand (INC) got 192986 votes while his rival M.Nansaab (RPI) got 91444 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 101542 (35.70% of Total Valid Votes). There were total no 12 of contestants from Chikodi constituency in this session.

In this edition of Lok Sabha election J.Rameshchand was selected as a MP from Chikkodi Constituency. As a winner J.Rameshchand (JD) got 392450 votes while his rival K.Pradeepkumar (INC) got 307860 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 84590 (11.38% of Total Valid Votes). The total no of elector was 1094053, from which 768685 no of electors voted. Total valid votes were 743378, from which rejected votes were 25121. In this edition of Lok Sabha election Ramesh Chandappa was selected as a MP from Chikkodi Constituency. As a winner Ramesh Chandappa (BJP) got 379580 votes while his rival S.B. Session 2009 (Ramesh Vishwanath):

In this edition of Lok Sabha election Ramesh Vishwanath was selected as a MP from Chikodi Constituency. As a winner Ramesh Vishwanath (BJP) got 438081 votes while his rival P.Hukkeri (INC) got 382794 votes respectively. The margin of votes were 55287.
