After Mumbai and Rajasthan, Gujarat has now banned sale of meat during the Jain festival of ‘Paryushan’. As per information, sale of meat has now been banned in Gujarat for one week.
On Thursday, Rajasthan government imposed a three day ban on meat sale. The issue has become a source of huge outrage in Mumbai where BJP has virtually became isolated in its effort to enforce a ban. Not only Congress and NCP, ally Shiv Sena has strongly come out against any kind of meat ban during the Jain festival of Paryushan.
