India vs Sri Lanka: 2nd Test match Day 4: India aim to bat Sri lanka out of the test match

Second Test between India and Sri Lanka has been one delight to watch so far. None of the teams are ready to step back and the tussle to win is just exciting.

Beginning of day three was certainly in favour of Sri Lanka. But come lunch session, the scales were tipped in India’s favour. Indian bowlers made a short work of Lankan lower order. Stuart Binny took his first Test wicket and relieved India of worrying about Angelo Mathews.

At the end of the third day, India were leading by 157 runs with 9 wickets in hand. They lost KL Rahul. Murali Vijay and Ajinkya Rahane will start the day for India.

For day four, the work is cut out for islanders. They will need to India bowl out India in order to delay their possible declaration.

Sunny Sunday morning in Colombo. Let’s enjoy the gentleman’s game, shall we?
