SS Rajamouli’s films are celebrated like festivals down South and when Baahubali released, despite the stakes being really high, the film received a bombastic opening at the box office. Crashing all previous existing records at the BO, Baahubali has emerged as one of the highest grosser in history of Indian cinema. While most actors have lauded the film for its grandeur and treatment, South star Nagarjuna has expressed his envy.
At a recent event, Nagarjuna told the media that he is rather jealous of Prabhas and Rana Daggubati who could be a part of the film. He also regretted missing out on an opportunity to be a part of something as huge as Baahubali. Given that the film is performing exceedingly well, Nagarjuna also applauded the film and the entire team for putting their best foot forward. Like most of us, Nagarjuna also exclaimed that he’s waiting to watch the second installment in the franchise.
Along with the box office success, Baahubali has been garnering a lot of accolades from the South industry, Bollywood and even the global market as well. Recently, Baahubali crossed Dhoom 3’s worldwide gross collections to become the third highest grossing Indian film ever.
