Hyderabad: South Indian actress Aarthi Agarwal has reportedly died due to liposuction surgery failure in New Jersey. While complete details of the death are yet to come in, the news has shocked the film industry.
While some reports on internet say that she developed breathing problem and died of heart attack after the surgery, some say that she had some respiration problems.
This news has shocked her fans, who have taken social media sites to express their condolence messages. Twitter is flooded with the ‘rest in peace’ messages and condolences from different parts of the world.
She was born on 5 March, 1985 in New Jersey where she was brought up by her parents. When she was barely 14, Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty spotted her and invited her to dance on stage in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In the same stage, Bollywood Megastar saw Aarthi Agarwal’s performance and asked her father to encourage her take up acting career in Bollywood. At the age of 16, she made her Bollywood debut with “Paagalpan”. But this film did not get a big breakthrough for the acress.
It was Telugu industry where she shot to fame with her first Tollywood film “Nuvvu Naaku Nachav”. Since then, she worked with many big names including Megastar Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja. Some of her popular films were “Nuvvuleka Nenulenu”, “Indra, Bobby”, “Vasantham” and “Adavi Ramudu”.
What has pained her fans is the fact that her last movie “Ranam 2” was released on Friday, 05 June and she passed away a day after its release!
It may be recalled that Aarthi Agarwal had tried to commit suicide in 2005. It was said that reports of her affair with her co-star had disturbed her a lot, leading her for a suicide attempt.
