Coming Soon in Bollywood: Anushka Sharma-Ranbir Kapoor’s liplock

MUMBAI: Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma may both be in relationships, but the two with share an intense liplock in Bombay Velvet, we hear.

“The kissing scene will be a major highlight in the film. Anushka’s Rosie and Ranbir’s Johnny are madly in love with each in the film, revealed a source from the production, adding, “The two actors share a scorching chemistry throughout, something that will become apparent in the coming trailers and promos.” No wonder then, Karan Johar quickly roped the BV couple for his next film!

Were they comfortable doing the liplock? “Of course”, adds the source, “RK and Anushka are extremely professional and understood that the scene was required. Neither threw a tantrum or complained about their girlfriend or boyfriend objecting.”

Interestingly, Katrina Kaif was spotted shooting a liplock scene in Kashmir with Fitoor co-star Aditya Roy Kapur. With Ranbir also following suit, it seems the couple have got their mutual kissing agreements in place. We wonder, though, if they do kiss and tell…

Trailer Duration:
Bombay Velvet has been unceremoniously postponed many a times throughout the last one year. And it finally releases this May. The team will soon launch the theatrical trailer. “Plans are being put into place to unveil the trailer. To describe the trailer in one word, the closest term would be ‘grand’,” said our source, adding that the BV trailer will be ‘like other trailers- about two and a half minute long’

Despite conjectures floating around, suggesting that the film is over three and half hours long, Ranbir has put all such rumours to rest. The film is tentatively just 2 hours and 19 minutes long!

Karan Johar, who returns to acting with Bombay Velvet will be seen playing the prime antagonist Kaizad Khambatta.

The khabroo also revealed that Karan’s character will have a dashing entry sequence and will have an exciting entry sequence – in an exquisite vintage car”.
