Twitter outrage as Facebook, Instagram, Tinder go down worldwide

NEW YORK: Facebook, Tinder and Instagram are in the midst of a worldwide outrage following disruptions in services on Tuesday. According to Mashable, mobile apps and website versions of the sites have gone down for some users, while others have been experiencing intermittent issues since 12:10 a.m. EST, according to, which monitors disruptions to Facebook’s services.

Angry users took to Twitter to lash out at the social media platforms after Facebook and Instagram crashed suddenly. Facebook, which also owns Instagram, issued a statement saying “We’re aware that many people are currently having trouble accessing Facebook and Instagram. We’re working to get things back to normal as quickly as possible,” the report added.
