Set to go on-air from 4th January, 2015, Bigg Boss Halla Bol will include not only the 5 Champions, but also open doors to 5 Challengers. Following a successful association with Bigg Boss Season 8, ‘Bigg Boss Halla Bol’ will go on-air starting January 4, 2015 and will air every day at 9.00 PM on COLORS.

Here’s exclusive dope on Bigg Boss 8’s spin off Bigg Boss: Halla Bol

The Host – Farah Khan:

Farah Khan, another Bigg Boss aficionado has been roped in to replace Salman Khan as the new Bigg Boss host. She would be taking over from where Salman leaves. Bigg Boss 8 contractually ends on January 3 and the Halla Bol spin off begins airing from January 4. Salman who would be busy shooting for Bajrangi Bhaijaan will not be able to extend his dates for BB and hence Farah will take over the reins.

Team Champions:

With Bigg Boss 8 contractually bound to end next week, this week’s eviction will leave the top 7 contestants inside the house. With one among Dimpy Mahajan, Karishma Tanna, Upen Patel and Sonali Raut eliminated in tonight’s episode, the other three safe contestants would join Puneet Issar, Gautam Gulati, Pritam Singh and Ali Quli Mirza to battle it out to be in the top 5 by next weekend. The top 5 contestants of Bigg Boss 8 will be taken over to be a part of the Halla Bol spin off as well. That also means, that either there would be a mid week eviction or a double eviction next week to reduce the number from 7 to 5.

Team Challengers:

Five former Bigg Boss contestants- Rahul Mahajan, Sambhavna Seth, Ajaz Khan, Mahek Chahal and one more power-packed challenger will re-enter the show as a probable contender to the throne for the season. The Challengers will be as expected challenging the champions and battle it out to be the winner of the series. With both parties bearing equal chances to emerge as the winners for the series, it is safe to say that the game has only just begun. But who will be the fifth challenger be? Imam Siddiqui? Dolly Bindra? or Pooja Bhatt?

The New Format:

Bigg Boss Halla Bol will be a special series that, with a mix of 10 enigmatic contestants, will bring entertainment to the forefront as competitiveness reaches an all-time high which will make their stay in the Bigg Boss house tougher than ever before. The Champions and Challengers will engage in a battle of sorts as they strive to stay inside the Bigg Boss house and move closer to the Grand Finale where a contestant from either party could claim the spot of the Winner of the show. The effervescent Farah Khan will be the guiding light for the champions and challengers while questioning their actions and decisions as the show races to the end.

The House:

Bigg Boss Halla Bol will continue in the same house as Bigg Boss 8. Unlike other seasons, there’s no secret house or a new house being made.

The spin off will continue for another four weeks from January 4 and will probably have a finale on January 31. That will also be the grand finale of the series where a winner will be finally crowned.

After next week’s evictions are done and the audiences has its 5 Champions from Bigg Boss 8, the challengers will join them.

10 contestants will yet again begin a new journey inside the house for the coming four weeks to battle it out to the top. Since the duration will be of four weeks only, we believe each week there will be two evictions. That means, either two contestants will randomly be evicted or two contestants – one Challenger and one Champion will be asked to leave the show each week. The latter sounds more probable though.
