Dhaka(AFP): Bangladesh finance minister Abul Maal A Muhith while attending a programme at Kolkata said that the Bodo terrorists who were involved in the Assam carnage might have fled to adjoining districts of Bangladesh. He feared that the terrorists might have reached Shyllet and Rangpur districts.
Muhith who also hails from Shyllet said that there are reports that the Bodo killers are hiding in Shyllet and for that the Bangladesh government is going to work with India government. It might be mentioned that the Union home minister Rajnath Singh met General Dalbir Singh on Friday to discuss ways to crack down on the Bodo terrorist group, as there are reports that the terrorists have fled India, as it is easier to cross over to Bangladesh and Myanmar.
Muhith said that there are no terrorists left in Bangladesh as the Sheikh Hasina government have been regularly taking action against the terrorists, but the terror modules are trying to keep alive their ideology in Bangladesh.
He said that the Bangladeshi terrorists may not have direct links in Kharagarh blast, but for that India and Bangladesh are working together to initiate action against the terrorists.
